We stayed at Mama Beach for 3 nights and really loved the hotel and location (which may not be for everyone). Overall, the grounds are gorgeous and the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. It’s not the newest or most luxurious stay but we absolutely loved it for its quaint vibe and calm atmosphere. Pros: - further away from the main strip which made for peaceful nights’ rests and less busy and noisy. Only a 10 mins walk away from all the action - the luggage service is fantastic to/from the ferry - the bars there are awesome and available early/late - breakfast was awesome (complimentary) - private swimming area for guests - mini-marts are close for water and snacks - we had a walk-out room and loved the greenery in front Cons: - we did get quite a few mosquito bites in the room despite trying really hard to keep the door closed at all times / quickly in and out - these aren’t new rooms by any means which gives them a bit of charm but the bathroom could use a little updating as it was a bit dark in there (especially when the sun went down) and felt like most of the mosquitoes were in there We would absolutely stay here again!

I wasn’t wrong when I chose this hotel based on reviews, very nice staff. The room was very pretty and clean and spacious, they waited for us at the pier and took us to the hotel. The views are just breathtaking. Only wish they offered more variety at breakfast. Their bakery is just speechless and delicious

My stay at the "Mama Beach Residence" was, unfortunately, an incredibly frustrating experience that led me to check out after just one night. The biggest drawback of this hotel was the unbearable scent that permeated my room, causing me to develop headaches. This scent was not only unpleasant but also had a detrimental effect on my health. What disappointed me the most was the hotel's lack of effort to make my stay more comfortable. After voicing my complaint at the front desk, I was essentially left to deal with the issue on my own, with no proactive actions taken by the staff to resolve it. This lack of customer care was completely unacceptable. Furthermore, the hotel appeared to be in a state of disrepair. The furnishings and common areas were worn out and neglected, giving the impression that no renovations or maintenance had been carried out for years. Considering my disappointing experience at the "Mama Beach Residence" I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this hotel. If you are seeking a pleasant stay, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

We stayed here for 2 nights and would gladly stay more. Hotel staff were very friendly. First day, when we arrived early they treated us with free breakfast while waiting for our room to be ready. They offer kayaks for free for 2 hours. Location is perfect - in short walking distance from restaurants and bars but still away from the main crowds.

Stayed for 3N. Booked directly with them for Grand View room. |Very very relaxing & idyllic stay.|Very comfortable bed & pillows.|Good breakfast. Cramped shower area.|You can get coke/beer/water from mini bar in your room for same price as 7-11. Niice.|Place gives a +ve vibe.|Will definitely stay here once we are back.

Everything was perfect. The residence is near to the city center but it is calm place because ist the last residence on beach. Service is perfect also room was clean ( ground room with see view). Breakfast was excellent. Evening. You cam also enjoy jacuzzi.
